This figure depicts the creature with spikes extending from its shoulders, which are shown in some portrayals. The Dacentrurus grew to be about 26 feet long and lived in the Late Jurassic Period, about 154 - 150 million years ago. • FUN FACT: The Dacentrurus had relatively long front legs and a back that bore a series of small plates and sharp spikes. Dacentrurus means "tail full of points".
